Mel's 30-Day Quarantine Style Challenge

Updated: Jul 20, 2020

I don't know about you, but I have really been in a slump these past weeks. Despite still having school and work to look forward to, it's hard finding motivation to do very much - even when there are things that require attention and devotion.

I decided what could be more fun than forcing myself to get dressed for 30 days - nothing! But in all seriousness, dating back to high school, dressing nice and feeling put together has always been a foolproof way for me to get at least a little motivation in my system, and sharing that with you could also easily help you get a little motivation in these strange and uncertain times.

SO, without further ado, here are the thirty days of styling to help you get out of your quarantine, work/school-from-home, I-only-ever-hang-out-with-my-mom-and-while-that's-fine-I-miss-how-things-were routine!

"Rules"

Okay, you got me, there are really no rules. Basically, interpret everything how you want to and take it into your style and your aesthetic! Okay wait - there is one rule: use only what you already have. We are, obviously, in quarantine, so don't be thinking about going anywhere unless you're ordering online. But, to make it simple, don't buy anything new, just make do with what you have!

Use #mels30dayqc (Mel's 30-Day Quarantine Challenge) on your posts AND stories so that I can see and repost them! I'm so excited to see what you come up with, and I can't wait to share your styles.

For those of you who are also bloggers, this is a great way to get exposure! And for everyone else, it's a fabulous way to put yourself out there, get creative and try something new. I'm excited!

You can find yourself and others who are participating in this highlight on my page! I am so excited to see what you create - It's pretty open-ended, but I know your styles are inspiring and I'm confident that you'll figure out some really interesting ways to use these pieces.

Lastly, I'll be rounding up my favorite fits and showcasing them in a post at the end of 35 days (I'm giving you guys a buffer in case you want to start late!)

You don't need to start immediately tomorrow (I will, but don't worry!) You can start whenever you want. I'll be following the hashtag, and feel free to do the same to see what other people come up with!

:) let's get creative!
